General Membership Information

Membership in the Executive Network Group (ENG) entitles its members to online resources that assist them in their networking and job search endeavors. In order to become a member one must meet the ENG requirements and there are some tasks that must be completed.

  • Register online to assign yourself a username and password. This step creates an ENG account with some personal information and a system invoice for you.
  • Submit your resume and payment to the Director. The cost to attend an ENG meeting as a non-member is sometimes credited towards the payment, so you may want to email the Director to clarify the amount of payment needed.
  • The Director verifies your membership requirements by reviewing your resume and possibly contacting you for more information.
  • The Director clears your payment, assigns you to the correct membership group (Member, Alumni, or Recruiter/Employer), and sets your membership expiration date.
  • You may now login to the Member area of the ENG website.

 

Individuals with active memberships are logged into the member area and access to menu items in the User Menu is granted based on your membership group. If you click on a menu item that you are not entitled to view, you will see a message concerning your permission to the item.

New Member Registration Process

  • Click the "Registration" link below the User Login form.
  • Select the appropriate membership type.
  • Fill out the new membership form, click the "Accept Terms and Conditions” button and then click “Register”.
  • Select the "Generate-Invoice" button. This final step generates the invoice for processing by the Director. Be sure to forward payment to the Director unless your membership is Recruiter/Employer.

Member Renewal Process

For memberships that are expired, follow the instructions below in order to generate an invoice, which is necesary for the Director to process your renewal membership request:

  • Login to the website using the login form.
  • Click the "Renew Now" button.
  • Select the  appropriate membership type, such as the "Renewal/Discount membership" option.
  • Select the "Generate-Invoice" button. This final step generates the invoice. Be sure to forward payment to the Director unless your membership is Recruiter/Employer.

For memberships that are approaching the expiration date and not yet expired, these instructiions:

  • Login to the website using the login form.
  • Select the "My Subscription" menu option from the User Menu.
  • Click the "Renew Now" button.
  • Select the  appropriate membership type, such as the "Renewal/Discount membership" option.
  • Select the "Generate-Invoice" button. This final step generates the invoice. Be sure to forward payment to the Director unless your membership is Recruiter/Employer.

User Menu Option Notes

  • User Profile - check the information displayed for errors. Update the information by clidking the Edit | Update Your Profile menu option. Uploading a photo of yourself is done on the Portrait tab. The User Status tab can be changed by the Director. Your contact information, which is available to all individuals with a valid login, is added on the Contact Info tab. Members have the opportunity to post their resume on the website using the Resume tab. All membership levels may post Job Listings. Registered members can now connect on the website for easier communication. To setup connections, select more detailed instructions below.
  • Member List - used to search for members. Click on the "Find Users" button after setting the search criteria. Select the peson you are searching for from the list of members meeting the criteria displayed.
  • Articles - a list of interesting articles is available for your perusal. Select an article link to view the article.
  • Links - an exhaustive list of various links is displayed on this page.

ENG Member Connection Setup

  • Select the "Member List" option from the User Menu.
  • Search for the member using the search criteria available.
  • Click on the name of the person in order to view their profile.
  • On the menu above their profile, select the "Connections | Request Connection" option.
  • In the small window that appears type a message and submit your request. A message indicating the connection is pending will appear.
