Meetings are normally on the second (2nd) Thursday of each month throughout the year, except where noted on the home page.


Each ENG meeting has two parts,a Special Interest Speaker and 3 rounds of structured networking. Structured networking is within functional groups.


We recommend being at the meeting site no later than 12:15 pm. Typically, meetings conclude around 4:30 pm.

Parking is always a challenge.  The best place to park is at the First Presbyterian Church just south of the library

Public Transportation

AHML is a short walk from the Arlington Hts, Downtown Metra Station. Use the RTA Trip Planner for assistance. (note: do not use Arlington Park, this would be a long walk :)

Policy on solicitation during meetings

ENG is a non-profit organization that provides executives in transition with valuable resources and networking opportunities for finding new employment. We invite participation by any individual whose focus is providing career networking connections for the membership. ENG networking sessions are free of direct marketing appeals, solicitation, and selling.



Upcoming Events

MONTHLY MEETING: The next ENG meeting is TUESDAY,  June 6. The keynote speaker is Tom Southall, VP-Global Innovation for ITW,  who will talk about, "What Executives Look for When Interviewing Executives".  ENG members are $5.  Guests are $20. Dress is business casual. Please bring 25 one-page handbills or business cards for networking. UPCOMING ENG DATES: Future dates of meetings are July 13 and August 10.

SKILLS WORKSHOPS: Note: The next Skills Workshop is Thursday, June 15 at the Schaumburg Library (130 South Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193, 847/985-4000) from 9:00-12:00.  Our presenter is Abby Kohut, an executive recruiter and career coach, who will conduct a workshop called "The Benefits of Being Overqualified".   Workshops are open to ENG members only and are free of charge. UPCOMING WORKSHOP DATES: July 20 and August 17.
